ECAT Phase 2 registration closes today — June 9, 2026. If you want to sit for the engineering entry test and secure a seat at UET Lahore, UET Taxila, UET Faisalabad, or any public engineering university in Punjab for Fall 2026, you have until today to pay the fee and submit your form at ecat.uet.edu.pk.

This is the second and final ECAT for this admission cycle. Miss it and you wait another year.

What Is ECAT Phase 2?

ECAT (Engineering College Admission Test) is the common entry test for all public engineering universities in Punjab. UET Lahore conducts it. Phase 2 is the last attempt for Fall 2026 — if you appeared in Phase 1 in March/April, you can appear again to improve your score. Only the better score counts.

Which Universities Accept ECAT?

ECAT scores are used for admission to: UET Lahore, UET Taxila, UET Faisalabad, NFC IEFR Faisalabad, BZU Multan (Engineering), and other public engineering institutions across Punjab.

ECAT 2026 Marking Scheme

No negative marking applies this year. Each correct answer gives 4 marks. Wrong answers score zero — not negative. Attempt every question.

One Important Reminder

Appearing in ECAT is not the same as applying for admission. After results on June 23, you must separately apply for admission and select your programs. That portal opens in July 2026.
