Deadline 1: LUMS (April 14, 2026)
LUMS has two big funding options closing on April 14, 2026 .
A. The Honhaar Scholarship (PHEC)

Who: Punjab domicile holders. High-achieving students.

Covers: Undergraduate studies at LUMS.

Action: You must have already applied for admission to LUMS. The scholarship is need-cum-merit .
B. Shahid Hussain Foundation Scholarship (International)

Who: SAARC countries (India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan). Note: Not for Pakistani passport holders .

The Reality Check for LUMS:
You cannot apply for the scholarship if you haven't applied for the program. The MBA, Executive MBA, and MS Economics deadlines are also April 14 . If you miss this date, you miss the Fall 2026 intake completely.
Deadline 2: Oxford (Balochistan Quota) – Urgent
This is for students from Balochistan.
The Benazir Bhutto Graduate Scholarship for the University of Oxford requires an admission offer from Oxford .

HEC US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor: Deadline for Fall 2026 is April 30, 2026 . This is for PhDs. You need a GRE score of 300+.

FAQ – Scholarships Deadlines
Q1: I am from Karachi. Can I apply for the Honhaar Scholarship?
A: No. Honhaar is specifically for Punjab domicile holders via PHEC . Karachi students should check HEC Need-Based scholarships.
Q2: I missed the April 14 LUMS deadline. Can I submit a late application?
A: No. LUMS strictly enforces these dates for Fall 2026. You must wait for the Spring 2027 cycle.
Q3: Is the Oxford scholarship only for Balochistan?
