UHS Punjab Admissions 2026–27 Overview

The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, has officially announced the admission schedule for MBBS and BDS programs in public and private sector medical and dental colleges across Punjab for the 2026–27 academic session. Candidates are required to apply through designated online portals managed by the university under the Punjab government's centralized policy.

Public Sector Reserved Seats

For the 2026–27 session, 252 seats are reserved for students from other provinces and regions, including Islamabad, AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and former FATA. Of these, 214 seats are allocated for MBBS and 38 for BDS. Online applications for these reserved MBBS seats open at 9:00 AM on October 26 and will close at 5:00 PM on November 9, 2026. Reserved seat applications for BDS are scheduled to open on December 14 and close on December 28, 2026.

Private Medical and Dental Colleges

Admissions to private medical colleges for the 2026–27 session are currently open, with a deadline of November 6, 2026. The first selection list for private MBBS admissions will be published on November 18. For private dental colleges, the application process will open on December 18, 2026, and conclude on January 1, 2027, with the first selection list expected on January 13, 2027.

Eligibility and Merit Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for admission:

• Academic Qualification: Minimum 60% marks in FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent.
• MDCAT Requirement: Minimum 55% score for MBBS and 50% for BDS.
• Merit Calculation: 10% weightage for matriculation, 40% for FSc, and 50% for MDCAT.
